Wilderness First Aid Afloat

Are you a boater? If so, this is the perfect class for you!

We are fortunate to partner with Wicked Good Wilderness Paddle Co to ofter this course

What is Wilderness First Aid Afloat?

This course will cover all the topics of our Wilderness First Aid Course (except altitude medicine). However, it will focus on marine specific concerns (sea sickness, bites/stings, and heat/cold related injuries). It will also cover the difference in evacuation and emergency management from land to water.

This program will meet all requirements and is an approved course of the USCG for wilderness first aid.

This course is unique because we will have time to practice scenarios on the water in your paddle craft (kayak, stand-up paddle board, or canoe). This course is three days long to accommodate for on water skill building.

WFA Afloat Course

This course is three days long. The cost is $335 and does not include CPR. If you would like to take CPR we offer this course for an additional $45
