People are venturing into the backcountry in ever increasing numbers. Getting away from it all is part of the fun, but this means that help can be hours or even days away. The goal of Wicked Good Wilderness Medicine is to help prepare folks from all walks of life to be able to respond when an emergency arises and help is far away.

Hands on Learning

Wicked Good courses are all about learning through doing. We improvise splints, build emergency shelters, construct litters to carry the injured, and allow students to get hands on to build confidence and skills.

Accessible to Everyone

Everyone can learn to help in an emergency. Our programs cater to people of all experience levels and backgrounds. We have an accessible campus and a flexible educational curriculum that allows for everyone to be able to join us for a course.
